Multi-Location SEO Case Study: How I Boosted Form Submissions from Organic Traffic in 6 Months

Client Overview: Transportation Management Group

Transportation Management Group is a freight factoring company serving trucking businesses across multiple locations in the United States. The company provides factoring, fuel, and financial services designed to help carriers improve cash flow and scale operations.

At the start of this engagement, the website had been live for some time, and organic traffic had reached a stable baseline. While the site was receiving consistent visibility from search, organic traffic was not translating into a proportional number of inbound leads.

The Challenge

The main challenge was not organic traffic growth alone, but lead generation quality.

Organic traffic had plateaued and remained steady for an extended period, yet form submissions from organic traffic were not increasing.

The site needed to attract users who were actively looking for freight factoring services, not just people who are researching the topic, for example.

Not all organic traffic is equal. Buyer-intent keywords are far more likely to generate qualified leads than informational searches.

Multi-Location SEO Work Performed

The work focused on improving technical foundations, site structure, and conversion alignment, including:

  • Auditing and improving site architecture and internal linking

  • Enhancing mobile usability and page performance

  • Optimizing service and location pages for clarity and intent

  • Improving metadata and on-page structure

  • Strengthening location-based navigation through a centralized location hub

  • Implementing and reviewing conversion tracking for form submissions

  • Conducting competitive analysis to identify gaps in buyer-focused content

  • GBP optimization

The approach emphasized scalability across multiple locations while maintaining consistency and trust.

Strategy Shift & Results

I started working on the site about six months before October 2024, which is when results truly took off.

As shown in the screenshots below, organic traffic stayed relatively steady, but in October 2024, form submissions from organic search increased sharply after a shift toward buyer-intent optimization, improving conversions without a spike in overall traffic.
